Nature just nails it every time when it comes to colour combinations. No need to look at a paint chart, next time you are undecided on colour and how to use it, find your nearest agricultural show and pop your head into the chook pavilion. Our local show was held last week and oh what a sight it was to see so many positively beautiful chooks and roosters on display. I didn’t go prepared to take notes on breeds, I merely thought I would pop my head in to see what all the commotion was about. So many pretty birds strutting their stuff having “scrubbed up all right” after having some serious grooming to achieve silky glowing feathers! I am sure you would agree! …..
Okay, so I am use to the ever reliable Rhode Island Chook who delivers every morning without fail an egg or two. After much contemplation, I have decided not to overhaul my chooks for colour combinations of feathers but just quitely I know girls who have!
|Now I must do some research on a reliable egg laying chook with a splash of turquoise in its feathers ………|
