This Master Suite by Three Birds Renovations is sure to have its owners rising up singing! The Queens of white, bright sophisticated spaces that are a delight to behold, their latest project “Colour Me Hamptons” is no exception. With this bedroom, Bonnie, Lana and Erin have turned a once bland space into the ultimate light-filled parent’s retreat. The white and blue hues paired with soft toned timbers have us dreaming of summer. Whilst our Giselle bedhead – dressed in Florence Broadhurst’s Japanese Panels in Lagoon – is an absolute show stopper.
The girls kept the room size as it was, choosing to make cosmetic renovations instead. They covered the walls in panelled timber, designed an in-built bench in one corner and furnished the windows with plantation shutters.
White bedding, mixed pattern Florence Broadhurst cushions and Heatherly Design’s Giselle bedhead in Japanese Panels Lagoon added sophisticated textural appeal. Creating “a sanctuary for the parents to get away to” says Lana.
With this cosmetic makeover, every surface, every fitting and fixture was updated. Careful attention was paid to the layout of the room. Erin shared this great tip “Think about how you are going to move around the space. What storage you need and where it is to go.”
