About: Why a coordinating bed base is the perfect choice?

Our luxurious movable base, frame to the floor option creates for a more substantial looking bed base. The upholstered frame is made to the floor. Depths can vary but standard as featured is 280 high.

Specifications: How do I know my mattress will fit in your bed frames?

Our bedframes are tailored to Australian standards for all mattress sizes in the width and length. It is the depth though that varies with mattresses and we ask for this measurement to ensure the profiling of your bed is in keeping with the bedhead design you have chosen and your preferred sleeping height. As each design is custom made, we can tailor sleeping heights to your preference.

Generally speaking the upholstered frame is 330mm in height. The timber slats are recessed into the upholstered frame by 30mm which allows for easy access for changing sheets. Where mattresses are deeper, we can recess further upon request. Once you have purchased your design our team will be in contact to ensure all measurements work with your needs. We have a proven formula to ensure the proportions are perfect for your chosen bedhead.

Customise: Can I choose the fabric for my bed base?

Affirming Heatherly’s reputation of being at the forefront of bedroom furniture is the option to customise our upholstered bed bases with any Heatherly Design bedhead and fabric. With over 40 bedhead designs and more than 100 fabrics to choose from, you can co-ordinate your bed base with your bedhead to create a seamless full bed.

Pricing: How do I calculate the price?

To calculate the price of your Heatherly bed, simply add the price of your preferred bedhead to the price of your bed base design. If you have selected a four-sided freestanding bed base, then no bedhead is required.

Our four sided freestanding bed frame is our stand alone bed option, it does not require a bedhead. It consists of four upholstered pieces at the same height. This option provides the flexibility of changing your bedhead design and can be moved freely. More faq >>
