Why a coordinating bed base is the perfect choice?
Our upholstered bed box option is tailored 30mm higher than your ensemble base and is designed to disguise a mattress base or moveable bed base. Our upholstered base rests on the floor and provides for a very tailored finish. We will work with you in tailoring your base to fit to your existing bed base measurements to ensure the design fits perfectly.
Specifications: How do I know my mattress will fit in your bed frames?
Our bedframes are tailored to Australian standards for all mattress sizes in the width and length. It is the depth though that varies with mattresses and we ask for this measurement to ensure the profiling of your bed is in keeping with the bedhead design you have chosen and your preferred sleeping height. As each design is custom made, we can tailor sleeping heights to your preference.
The height of the upholstered frame will depend on the height of your ensemble base.Once you have purchased your design our team will be in contact to ensure all measurements work with your needs. We have a proven formula to ensure the proportions are perfect for your chosen bedhead.
The width inclusive of upholstered frame with a small allowance to change sheets is as such –
Single 1000 wide
King single 1140 wide
Double 1440 wide
Queen 1600 wide
King 1900 wide
Super king 2100 wide
The length is dependant on which bedhead is chosen but an average length is 2120 for king single, queen, king and super king and 1970 for single and double.
